Do I need an account?

No. Magical uses the calendars and reminders already on your iPhone: nothing to sign up for.

Does it work with Google Calendar, Outlook and Exchange?

Yes, along with iCloud, Yahoo and the calendars you subscribe to: Magical shows every account on your iPhone. To add one, open the iPhone’s Settings, then Apps, then Calendar.

Are my tasks the ones in Reminders?

Yes: Magical’s tasks are your reminders, the same lists as in Reminders, in sync with all your devices. Tasks kept in other apps, such as Google Tasks or Todoist, don’t show.

Will I lose anything if I go back to Apple’s Calendar?

No. Magical reads and writes the same calendars and reminders as Apple’s apps: everything stays where it is. Its own additions, such as calendar sets, templates and list icons, live in Magical alone.

Where is my data?

Where it already was, on your iPhone and in your calendar accounts. Magical has no servers: what you keep in it never reaches us. Places, travel times and the weather come from Apple, and the privacy policy says what it receives.

Is Magical free?

Yes: everything you need to plan your days is free, for good. Magical Plus adds services, automation and the finishing touches, from the weather to sets that switch on by themselves: everything it includes.

How do I cancel or restore Magical Plus?

The yearly plan starts with 14 days free: cancel at least a day before they end and nothing is charged.

To change or cancel your subscription, open the iPhone’s Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, or manage your subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

On a new iPhone, open Settings in Magical, then Magical Plus, and tap Restore Purchases.

Which languages does it speak?

English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, as your iPhone speaks them. What you type to add an event or a task is understood in Magical’s language and in English at once: “Lunch with Paul tomorrow at 12:30pm”, “Déjeuner avec Paul demain 12h30”, “Mittagessen mit Paul morgen um 12:30”.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Magical: Today, Upcoming or Month. On the Lock Screen, touch and hold, tap Customize, then Lock Screen, and pick Magical among the widgets.

Why do I get two notifications for the same alert?

Magical sends its alerts itself, and Calendar and Reminders send theirs too: to avoid getting them twice, turn off their notifications in the iPhone’s Settings, then Notifications.

Is there an iPad or Apple Watch version?

Not yet: Magical is for iPhone, with iOS 26. iPad and Apple Watch are on the way, and Magical Plus will include them.
